KING RAT by China Mieville limited edition in slipcase

Something is stirring in London’s dark corners, stamping out its territory in brick dust and blood. Something has murdered Saul Garamond’s father and left Saul to pay for the crime.

A shadow from the urban waste breaks into Saul’s prison cell only to lead him into a different form of imprisonment, as he soon finds himself an unwilling player in a battle between two ancient enemies. In order for Saul to survive, he must confront the forces that would use him, the forces that would destroy him, and the forces that shape his own bizarre identity.

This is award-winner China Mieville’s debut novel. Like his subsequent novels, KING RAT features Mieville’s characteristic breakneck pacing, impossible creatures, and new dark worlds. Lavishly illustrated by Richard Kirk, and with a Foreword by Clive Barker and an Afterword by the author, this deluxe edition celebrates Mieville’s “bold, pounding, down-and-dirty debut” (Kirkus Reviews).

THE NOT QUITE RIGHT REVEREND CLETUS J. DIGGS & THE CURRENTLY ACCEPTED HABITS OF NATURE by David Niall Wilson (Limited Edition)

100 numbered copies, signed byDavid Niall Wilson.

This title is sold out at the publisher at $50 cover price but we’re starting this auction at only $10.00 with no reserve !

When Cletus J. Diggs gets a visit from his buddy Jasper and learns about the dead man sticking boot-first out of the fishing hole, he has no idea what it will lead to. How could he?

Old Mill is famous for a lot of things, good fishing, barbecue, over-sized satellite dishes and disappearing beer; it is not known for genetic research, ancient rituals, or alien abduction. From the moment Cletus and Sheriff Bob drag the corpse from the fishing hole to the final moments of terror, the action is non-stop, tense, and filled with surprises.

Between the Reverend Dozier and his church, the swamp witch, the albino twins, and the local lodge’s well-hidden secrets, the strange events in Old Mill, NC are pretty much out of control. Only Cletus, ordained minister, common law attorney, journalist, private investigator and jack of all trades can draw together the people and resources necessary to set things right. The question is, can he do it before it’s too late?

GATEWAYS by F. Paul Wilson (1st edition trade hardcover)

This is a first edition trade hardcover

In F. Paul Wilson’s 7th Repairman Jack novel, GATEWAYS, Repairman Jack learns that his father was involved in a car accident in Florida and is in a coma. He and his dad have been on the outs, but he heads south. In the hospital he meets one of his father’s neighbors, Anya Mundy. She’s a weird old duck who seems to know an awful lot about his father, and even about Jack.

Jack’s arrival does not go unnoticed. A young woman named Semelee, who lives in an isolated area of the Everglades with a group of misshapen men, senses his arrival. She senses that he’s “special,” like her.

Anya takes Jack back to Dad’s senior community, Gateways South which borders on the Everglades. Florida is going through an unusual drought. There’s a ban on watering; everything is brown and wilting, but Anya’s lawn is a deep green.

Who is Anya? Who is Semelee and what is her connection to the strange deaths of Gateways residents—killed by birds, spiders, and snakes—during the past year? And what are the “lights” Jack keeps hearing about—lights that emanate twice a year from a sinkhole deep in the Everglades?

These are questions Jack must answer, and there are secrets he must uncover if he is to protect his father from being the next fatality at Gateways. Along the way he learns that even his father has secrets.

THE WELL by Jack Cady (Limited Edition)

Here is what Brian Keene says about Shane Ryan Staley and this collection.

“You’ve heard the expression ‘Through the glass darkly’? Forget that. The looking glass that Staley uses to view our world isn’t just dark - it’s fucking obsidian. What you call religion, he terms mind control. Where you see a prom queen, he sees a craqck whore. Staley is a writer that focuses on the positive. He’s positive that everything sucks.” Brian Keene

AT THE FOOTHILLS OF FRENZY by Shane Ryan Staley, Mark McLaughlin, Brian Knight

This is one of only 350 signed and numbered hardcover copies! Publisher: Solitude Press

Chock full of hellishly good fun, Solitude Publication presents its very first title, an important collector’s item for small press enthusiasts!

Mark McLaughlin, the Clown Prince of Horror, leads off this book with a flurry of witty and bizarre stories which has been his trademark in making him one of most well-known comedic authors working in the horror genre today. His stories include: “The Astonishing Secret of the King of Cats,” “Connect the Dots,” “Buzz,” and “The Revelations of McDeth.”

Shane Ryan Staley, known for being one of the most controversial authors in print today follows with a literary kick in the face with what many insiders have called one of the most offensive stories ever written, a novelette called “Swan Lake.” Staley adds another 2 stories to the mix, including the nasty “The Thriller At Red Nook.”

Rising star Brian Knight shows off his wicked side to the extreme with weird stories like “Slickpoo” and “Twisting in the Dust.” For the growing legion of Knight fans, this is another side to the extremely talented author of Feral and Broken Angel.

And you ever wonder what happens when 3 sick individuals (with huge, twisted egos) calloborate together? Well, they kill each other off. Yes, during the writing of this new book, Mark McLaughlin killed off Shane Ryan Staley. Brian Knight killed off Mark McLaughlin and then Shane Ryan Staley rose from the dead to whack Brian Knight. All three murders are documented in the following stories:

  • “Give Us This Day Our Staley, Dead: Or, Gone With The Shane” by Mark McLaughlin
  • “The Casket of a Thousand Dildos” by Brian Knight
  • “Thirteen” by Shane Ryan Staley

Read firsthand how all three authors humiliate each other by killing one another off in the most horrible fashion!

At the Foothills of Frenzy & Other Freakish Forays is a must-have for serious fans of the hardcore, the humorous and extreme.

For God spared not the angels that sinned…

On May 21st, 2007, seven graduate students in Religious Studies set out from the University of Colorado in search of God. Armed with only their faith and the scriptures, they rented a small cluster of cabins on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains.

None of them were ever heard from again.

…but cast them down to hell…

On October 29th, 2009, a disarticulated femur is discovered in a mountain lion’s den. Forensic testing confirms that the bone belongs to one of the missing seven, triggering a massive search of the surrounding wilderness.

No other evidence is found.

…and delivered them into chains of darkness…

On November 13th, the families of the missing students rent the same cabins and attempt to recreate the final days of their loved ones in hopes of divining their fate. Only this time, thanks to an unusual bacterium isolated from the femur, they know where to look.

Nothing can prepare them for the truth.

…to be reserved unto judgment.

This is their story. The story of what they found, what they lost…and what Remains.

Cargo Cult Announces Next Title

Posted by: admin | Comments Comments Off

There will be a 60 day reservation period for this title with no more than 150 copies sold. We will reserve copies for customers up to February 27 or until all 150 copies are sold whichever comes first.

Life at the bottom. The life of the financially ruined. The emotionally ruined. How does one seek revenge on greed? How does one seek revenge for a life that has been destroyed and has no hope of being rebuilt? Sometimes it takes a man who has nothing to answer these questions, to seek this revenge.

Meet Myron Barnes…

Myron is a man with sadly convincing eyes. He begs food and people give it to him and he offers it to the gods he’s chosen to believe in. He finds sleep in the beds of disreputable women. But he finds no comfort there. He will not find the comfort he needs until bank president Robert Chambers is dead. Myron knows that, sometimes, in order to drag people to the bottom you have to go to the top. What he finds there is not what he expects. Collapsing chaos, a disturbing reality, women who have become sacrifices and men who are more animal than human…
