A really classy tale. The writing is lyrical and precise, the setting unique. It stands apart from the "in your face" horror that is so popular these days. This horror is subtle and more insidious. I will admit, the haunting aspect of the tale could have been a little clearer, I felt some parts went over my head, but the love triangle was handled expertly. A nice first look at this author, I look forward to reading more by him in the future.
