I actually enjoyed this book and found it a little better written than most of Koontz's works but I also seemed to find the story very reminiscent of Richard Laymon's In The Dark which Koontz provided a foreward to. Irregardless, this is still an exciting book on its own and will keep the reader entertained from beginning to end. Recommended.
