Author: Kurt Criscione this is a geat read... it starts out quirky and then it just slowly pulls you in. Until it gets to the point where you just can't put the book down. I reccomend having free time put aside so that you can read this one in a single sitting. Excellent.

Author: David Niall Wilson I love stories like this that start at the end and work toward the beginning. As the protagonist of this story travels, he begins to unravel the secret of himself, and his story. The storytelling is tight, and the tale itself is compelling. This is a great example of a difficult concept handled very well, and will keep you glued to the pages from beginning to end, even if it's difficult at times to figure which is which. Recommended!

Author: Horrordude Ronald Damien Malfi has created a unique piece of dark fiction here. I wouldn't label this horror, but it has horrific aspects to the story. Imagine waking up on a bench with absolutely no memory of who you are, and then not being able to go to the police for fear that you might possibly be wanted. Sounds weird and creepy, huh?
The rest of the book is a journey through the strange mind of the nameless man who travels through the city of Maryland trying to find out just who the hell he is. He encounters many strange things on the way, and the ending will leave you speechless.
A dark glimpse into a mind that cannot remember, and a book you'll want to read over again one dark night ... trust me.
This was my first intro to Malfi, and it won't be my last.

Author: Josef Hernandez I don't really know what to say about this book except that I was completely blown away.
Malfi weaves a tale of what it means to be human in this story that has a simple premise: What would happen if you woke up with no memory at all. Would this give you a freedom from the burden of your past, freeing you to start your life all over again from scratch? Would this leave you lost and stranded without friends or family?
This happens to a man who wakes up on a city bus with no memory of anything at all. The only clue he has to his identity is an address written on his hand. As he searches for his identity, he meets several people who help him on his path one way or another. A waitress in a bar who feels trapped within a dull life and marriage. The nun who quickly dies due to cancer. A junk hauler who is inspired by the man and decides to leave his past behind and start his life all over again. A postal employee who falls in love with the man and wants to help him remember and start living life again. Finally, the weight of the situation falls on the man and he must decided if he needs to know his past even if it may destroy his chances at future happiness. Is it better to know or is ignorance truly bliss.
This a short but powerful novel in which Malfi creates the highest level of suspense and intrigue. He is very subtle with his hints and revelations and keeps the reader guessing until the final pages. This book is one of the best published in 2008. Very highly recommended.

Author: Jeffrey Burk A man wakes up on a Baltimore city bus with no memory of who he is or how he got there, and address written on the back of his hand. So begins Passenger, the dark and paranoid new horror-thriller from Ronald Damien Malfi and Delirium Books. Malfi has written in a wide variety of genres and Passenger will be many horror fans first introduction to his heart-pumping work.
The story starts off with a very simple premise and to say more would spoil the tightly-knit tale. Malfi writes tension and terror with startling talent and the reader is sure to remain transfixed to the book as the main character gets closer and closer to finding out the truth of his circumstances.
There is a dream-like quality at times as the main character wanders the streets of Baltimore, which one could argue is the book’s other main character. Malfi takes great care in vividly exploring the dirty and dangerous city and using the setting to its fullest effect. A constant sense of doom follows the main character as he explores the dark corners of Baltimore looking for any answer to his plight.
This is a gripping tale that the reader will not be able to put down. Malfi understands the finer points of tension building and mystery and puts them to great use in this dark and dreamy novel. This is a difficult work to review, as any commentary on the work could potentially spoil plot-points for the would-be reader. This is an immensely compelling work that one should go into knowing as little about as possible. Passenger has many shocks and surprises waiting within and an immensely talented writer at the wheel.

Author: JASON PHILLIPS This is one of the best novels I have ever read and for the price I suggest you buy a copy and find out for your self.
Very gripping, once you start, you just have to keep on going until you finish to find out the ending.
The best book of 2008!

Author: geoff guthrie This book has some excellent writing, and one can tell the skill of the author. But I didn’t care for it, as it was extremely similar in style to the movie Memento. In fact the beginnings and endings were almost identical. But in between it tells its own story, and was enjoyable to follow. If I had never seen the movie I would have liked this book a lot, as its written well, but I couldn’t get the similarities between the movie and the story out of my head and I ended up disliking the story.
