SYNOPSIS: Dan
Simmons's World Fantasy Award-winning first novel has been called
"an exactingly constructed, brutal, and uncompromising study
of the degree to which an evil place may permeate and steep all
that makes us human" (Ed Bryant) and is nothing short of a
modern masterpiece of dark fiction.
Now, 20 years after its original publication: a new, deluxe, signed
hardcover edition to celebrate this cornerstone work, featuring
original art and an introduction written by Dan Simmons exclusively
for this edition.
15 lettered hardcovers, signed by the author
and artist, entirely hand made using the finest materials, and
