Fresh Blood, featuring three tales from David Alexander, Kelli Dunlap and Bob Freeman, is a mixed bag from Burning Effigy Press. The Dunlap tale is the strongest, showcasing a mother's revenge with a twist you won't see coming. Alexander's tale is bizarre, detailing an adolescent boy discovering he has a hair growing out of his chest...but when he tries to pluck it, he learns it apparently has no end!
