Take a heaping load (OK, not so heaping) at his finest and throw in a dash of Glenn Chadbourne and what do you get. A damn fine novella, that's what. Ketchum is at work here in all of violent glory, telling the twisted tale of a couple who are more in love with death and destruction than they are with themselves. As with his other stories based on true events, this is a violent story that will sicken and entertain. And Glenn Chadbourne's art just adds to the horrific atmosphere of the...
Horror Mall is wonderful site. It functions like a well-run business should. The customer is obviously very important to Larry and Shane. They respond quickly to questions and the site is designed to easily discovery new items. Everything I've purchased here has arrived in a timely manner, well-packed, and in great condition. And, holy crap, they have layaway! I can finally pick up some books that have been out of reach for me. The selection is great. I'm always discovering new things that I wouldn't have otherwise found. I check in here at least 2-3 times a day. And the forums are a lot of fun, too...

Author: geoff guthrie This is a horror story dealing with a prison project that is using a serial killer as a psychic subject to create alternate realities. The protagonist is used as a test to be sent into this alternate reality to try and find two previous prison inmates. The protagonist finds himself in a very hellish world, and instead of trying to find the inmates he takes on a new task of trying to find and free a child that was to be the next victim of the serial killer. It’s hard not give away the plot because it is a novella and is fairly a straight foreword story. I will say though that it was great fun, and it’s a dark story. It’s a cool idea, and it was told very well. I liked it.
Author: William C. Rasmussen Simon Janus's novella, The Scrubs, is a well-written and entertaining tale blending the genres of horror, science fiction, and techno-thriller. There are many similarities to the movie "Cell," starring Jennifer Lopez, but Janus makes this story all his own. Michael Keeler, a convicted killer and inmate at the infamous Wormwood Scrubs Prison ("Scrubs") is given a chance at freedom if he participates in an extremely risky scientific experiment. Unfortunately for him it involves becoming a part of serial killer David Jeter's demented mind! It's a thrill ride from page one, and I was glad to read that Janus has already got two more episodes planned in the world of "the scrubs." Great read!!
Author: James Foster The Scrubs is Simon Wood's (aka Simon Janus) foray into horror fiction. Wood is better known for his work in the thriller field, but after reading this that is all about to change. The Scrubs is the story of inmate Keeler who has signed up for a experiment taking place in the North Wing section and involves infamous serial murderer David Jeter. Keeler has no idea what he has signed on for. Jeter can create another reality called The Rift where is God. Keeler's job is to find out what happened to the previous two volunteers. What follows is a explosive horror tale that moves along at a break-neck pace. Great characterization and a fantastic plot that leave the reader wanting more. Pick this one up and you'll thank me later.
Author: David Niall Wilson This novella, the story of an inmate who volunteers for a special project to get out of part of his prison sentence, starts out weird and dives into the utterly surreal with stunning speed. Drawn into a realm existing only in the mind of an inmate named Jeter, the protagonist - who is really not the horrible killer he's accused of being - is confronted by madness, violence, and a chance - very literally - to save the world. This is magical, well-wrought, and leaves the reader very much ready to find out what happens next. Since this is the first of a series set in this world - Simon Janus has set the stage marvelously.
