Ronald Damien Malfi has created a unique piece of dark fiction here. I wouldn't label this horror, but it has horrific aspects to the story. Imagine waking up on a bench with absolutely no memory of who you are, and then not being able to go to the police for fear that you might possibly be wanted. Sounds weird and creepy, huh? The rest of the book is a journey through the strange mind of the nameless man who travels through the city of Maryland trying to find out just who the hell he is....

Testimonials
Horror Mall is about as professional as you can get. There's no waiting game with their communication emails to you. I had questions about Delirium's book club that were answered super fast, and even one email response sent to me on a Sunday night, if you can believe that. My package arrived on time and packed with enough care to insure that my books didn't get slammed to all hell. Definitely a place I'll do business with again-without hesitation. Thanks guys!

THE MEMORY TREE by JOHN R. LITTLE (trade paperback edition)
THE MEMORY TREE by JOHN R. LITTLE (trade paperback edition)

Now back in print for the first time. A heartbreaking story of love and evil. NEW introduction by Ronald Kelly, additional material from the original.

Sam Ellis is a middle-aged stock broker living in Seattle, successful, married to a woman he dearly loves, with everything he could want. But below the surface, there are scars. Then his world changes. For reasons he doesn’t understand, Sam is thrust back in time to 1968, the summer he turned thirteen. He meets his parents and his own childhood self. That summer changed Sam’s world. Monsters walked the streets of his hometown, and now Sam will come face to face with those monsters again, this time as an adult. Nothing will ever be the same.

John R. Little achieves something rare and wondrous with The Memory Tree. Writers work their entire lives in the hopes of one day producing something this astonishing. The Memory Tree is a privilege to experience.
— Gary A. Braunbeck, author of Far Dark Fields

Little’s elegantly crafted, stripped-down prose sustains a quietly powerful meditation on the ghosts of memory and will appeal to anyone< harboring a secret yen to exorcise childhood demons.
— Booklist

The Memory Tree is a beautifully written and well-plotted story.
— Thomas F. Monteleone

Author: William C. Rasmussen
John R. Little's novel, The Memory Tree, is finally back in print! Justifiably so, since it was nominated for a Stoker award a couple years ago. I'm surprised it didn't win. This heartfelt tale of a middle-aged man who begins slipping backwards in time, to the town wherein he grew up, is by turns melancholic, disturbing, poignant and ultimately uplifting in its denouement. Unbelievably good! Highly recommended!
