Awhile back someone asked me what my favorite Delirium book was and without question I named this title. The story spins a tale about what happens when a stranger comes into the local bar and brings with him an even stranger gift. Is it truly a gift or are there consequences beyond our thoughts? As people's lives begin to unravel around them the main character goes in search of the man with the box and the answers to his questions...

My first (of many) boxes arrived Saturday. I could not have asked for it to be packaged any safer then it was. Generous use of archival protective bags, bubblewrap and packing peanuts, the slight shipping fee charged is worth spending just for the safe packing.
Not only will I be buying more books from The Horror Mall but it will be my primary source for my horror addiction.
Author: William C. Rasmussen The Girl In The Woods, David Jack Bell's followup to his fine first novel, The Condemned, is a good, solid sophomore effort. The writing is good, the plot good, the characters well-drawn--in fact, it was a good novel overall. Just nothing fantastic! The two flaws, in my opinion: the killer was identified early-on, so there was no real mystery; and the plot was quite pedestrian, it's been done before a number of times. I expected a bit more from the author, and was quite disappointed with this effort, moreso in view of all the glowing reviews it's garnered. Recommended, but just barely.
Author: evelyn bennefield I have not been dissapointed yet with the books that I have been getting. I really enjoy the part of wondering what will come out next, and Girl in the woods sounds just like my kind of book, with all the thrill and pleasure of haunts. I have tried other book store online and have been very dissapointed with what I received, but not with this book club. I am so glad that I found you people and your book club, and whenever I have a question you always get right back to me unlike others. Also I am being interduced to a lot of Author that I have never heard of and it is great.
