Lots of action, gore, and well-built story and characters. And a story element I didn't see coming that made me wonder, along with the conclusion of the tale itself, if those alive with kick ass and reclaim the dawn in a sequel. Because there's something else to deal with other than walking corpses.

10/27/09. I received this yesterday and started reading almost immediately. I finished it today and have to say I really enjoyed it. While it has its visceral moments it isn't over the top like Header. A great addition to Sideshow Press's catalog. Gordon Heyton is a 3-dimensional character with assets and liabilities like the rest of us. Nice ending. Highly recommended.

How the fuck ain't this title sold out yet? $11 for an illustrated Sideshow Press Edward Lee chapbook and there are still copies left? You know what that tells me? It tells me that if you fellas want a better deal than that, then you fuckers be some greedy bitches. Edward Lee is one of only a few authors who can satisfy me with a short story and Tom Moran is one of only a few artists who's artwork can do an Ed Lee story justice. So that to me sells its fucking self. The story is off the wall and vintage Lee, it's first class and hardcore. Fucking 5* all the way.
