Brian Knight's Reservoir Gods is a short, fast, action-packed read! There are only a handful of characters, some good, most bad; and there are some large creatures in the reservoir--all of them bad! It's a really spare novel, very little backstory or character development; but I guess that's the way the author wanted it to be. If I have one complaint with the prose it's this--Knight writes way too many run-on sentences and could have broken up most of them into shorter, swallowable ones....
Great site for buying ALL your horror needs. Service standards are second to none, with excellent packaging and lightning quick postage all the time. I won't shop anywhere else.

I would just like to thank Larry, Debra, and Shane for ALL that they do to make this the best website for all my reading needs. All their work is very appreciated. Horror Mall IS the best site around and I will continue to shop here as long as I can. Thanks!
Author: Mark Webb 10/18/09. This is a wonderful little collection and would be a bargain at twice the price. In, “North of Bigfoot, Bound for Memphis” we see him adding a Bradbury-esque quality to the plot. In less capable hands this could be a mess but Vernon does very nicely. In, “Jumping Chollo Will Not Die” he really focuses on the weird. Think about a little movie from the '50's starring Steve McQueen as a teenager and you'll get the picture. Finally, in, "Two Good Hands and a Hold-out," he has combined 2 of my favorite genres, horror and westerns, to great effect. This is a great little collection. Highly recommended.
