6/8/09 This is also my first go around with Gina Ranalli's work. Great story! While the "villain gets his comeuppance" story has been done many times before (Tales From The Crypt, anyone?) the method of said comeuppance as detailed in this story is fresh. It preys upon the worst fear of anyone with "questionable" predilections. Highly recommended.
Great site for buying ALL your horror needs. Service standards are second to none, with excellent packaging and lightning quick postage all the time. I won't shop anywhere else.

Author: Mario De Luca SWAN LAKE by Shane Staley's alter ego Patrick Kill is a hilarous and sick little story. If you love your fiction filled with very very dark humor and hardcore horror scenes this is one story you MUST read. I loved it and I don't feel ashamed. A fun read and highly recommended!
Author: William C. Rasmussen Just finished my third digital download, Swan Lake by Patrick "Shane" Kill. It's a grossly humorous take on the Fountain of Youth. If Jeff Strand collaborated with Ed Lee to do a take on that legend, they still wouldn't come close to the disgustingly gross scenes that Kill comes up with. Trust me--this is a nasty tale that I quite surprisingly enjoyed a lot. For a buck-forty-nine you could do a lot worse. Highly recommended!
Author: Josef Hernandez In Swan Lake, Patrick Kill (aka Shane Ryan Staley) pushes the envelope of good taste and his reader's sanity to the brink without crossing the line. First off, anyone considering this story should be warned that it is not for the weak of heart or stomach. But, if you like your horror hardcore and graphic, this is the story for you. While reading this story, I was often slightly sickened and questioned why I wanted to continue with the story, but I did because I enjoyed the story. Well written and disgustingly detailed, this is definitely a guilty pleasure for me. Recommended, but bring the barf bag just in case.
Author: Mark Webb I love the double entendre of the title. I have read some hardcore horror before that left me cold. But, God help me, I liked this story a lot. There really is an element of horror apart from the visceral nature of the events. What strikes me the most is the callousness of both major characters. Although the unnamed main character shows some concern, it isn't enough to make him act more than nominally. That is the scariest part about it to me. Highly recommended.
