This is one of the best novels I have ever read and for the price I suggest you buy a copy and find out for your self.
Very gripping, once you start, you just have to keep on going until you finish to find out the ending.
The best book of 2008!
Hats off to Larry and Shane for

Horror Mall may be the best thing to come to the field of small press horror in a long time. I'm personally impressed by the quality of the site and the people who interact here. Kudos to Shane and Larry for coming to together and providing a one-stop location for horror fans.
Author: William C. Rasmussen Brian Knight's Reservoir Gods is a short, fast, action-packed read! There are only a handful of characters, some good, most bad; and there are some large creatures in the reservoir--all of them bad! It's a really spare novel, very little backstory or character development; but I guess that's the way the author wanted it to be. If I have one complaint with the prose it's this--Knight writes way too many run-on sentences and could have broken up most of them into shorter, swallowable ones. Be that as it may, it's a fun read. Highly recommended!
Author: Jack Staynes 'Reservoir Gods', I fucking loved it, jumped into it dry with no idea what it was gonna be about other than the fact is was gonna have water in it. I like books with large bodies of water in them, I find them refreshing for some reason. Reservoir Gods did it for me, not only did it have water... it had big fucking fish with big fucking teeth in the water, and that is something that I like very much. I enjoy Brian Knights writting, I don't know about prose and stuff, I just know that the story flowed for me and I enjoyed it a whole hell of alot. I liked the element of the 'Why' of it, there was little back story as to why any of it happened... but therein lies the mystery for me. Sometimes you gotta take it on face value that shit does happen, and rather than getting caught up in the why of it... you just gotta fucking stay alive.
Author: Eric Taylor I absolutely loved this book. It was short, but very much to the point. It left nothing on the table, and left me very satisfied.
I especially like how there is no explanation as to why there are giant man eating fish in the Reservoir. Its refreshing sometimes to have a book that doesn't spend 100 pages explaining the evil that plagues the characters. Knight seems to tell the reader: "theres big fuckin' fish, deal with it."
Lots of action in this one, great characters, and a satisfying ending. This is a solid 9/10 story. You won't be disappointed with it!
Author: Mark Gunnells I thought this novel was pure fun. The characters were not developed in great detail but enough that I got a sense of who they were, some you rooted for, some you just loved to hate. Reminded me of King the way Knight wasn't satisfied with just a supernatural threat or even weather threat, but he had to throw in some threat from man as well. The action starts almost immediately and continues at a breakneck speed throughout. There was never a dull moment, never a period where my interest waned, which really says something. It isn't a novel that is going to change the world, but it did what any good novel is supposed to do, entertained the hell out of me.
