A fun vampire movie! Sutherland proves in this early role in his career that he is a great actor. This is btw one of Schumacher's best film. Recommended!
Horror Mall is fantastic! I bought separately from both Larry and Shane over the years (Bloodletting and Delirium Books) and now that they've joined forces they're unstoppable. Plus, there's no one more trustworthy to send you your books. They know how much they mean to you because they're small press publishers as well. Keep up the good work, guys!

I would just like to say that both products i ordered from this site came in pristine condition and arrived in the promised time period. This may be the norm for you guys but you would be surprised at some of the problems iv'e had with other sites.
I would not hesitate to order my favorite horror items from you again. Thank you for this wonderful service. You have proved that a customer doesn't have to go through a horror show to get their horror products in a correct fashion. Thanks again.

Author: David Niall Wilson This is a tight little story of murder, jealousy, apes and explosives. When you start the book, you are sure you know where it's going. It's entertaining, but nothing special. Then things start to warp, and you wonder - am I reading the POV of the character I think I am? By the end, you realize that what appeared to be flaws in the delivery were carefully plotted twists. This is novella doesn't read like a puffed up short story, or a clipped novel...the pacing is good, the story is good, and the ending is perfect. Highly recommended.
Author: Josef Hernandez I've read a lot of good comments about this book, but it really didn't work for me. It's obvious that Allen is a talented writer and that shows through in this story, but the story itself was like hearing a joke that you already know the punch line for. About a quarter of the way through this novella, I thought that I had guessed the ending (and I was right) and the rest of the story just lost me. Others have said that there are several unexpected twists, so maybe I just got lucky. At HM's price, you can't go wrong with a signed, limited edition, so I would go ahead and buy the set so that you have it for you collection.
Author: Jeffrey Burk This winter, Biting Dog Press is publishing Monkey Love, by up-and-coming horror author John Paul Allen. When Sandra's husband, Richard, dies in a terrorist bombing, her life falls apart. She travels to Uganda throw herself into her work, studying gorillas. One gorilla in particular catches Sandra's attention, on that has a fur marking similar to her lost husband's tattoo. This inspires her to devise a plan to get the love-of-her-life back.
Sandra's story makes for a gripping and disturbing tale. Allen cruelly toys with a character that has had her sense of purpose shattered. As she begins to find meaning in life again, various forces converge to unwittingly send Sandra down into an even deeper darkness. Her downward spiral is sure to shock and it made this reviewer gasp out-loud on more than one occasion.
As a bonus, the book includes the short story "House Guest". It is a disturbing psychological drama about a couple whose daughter is brain-dead and being cared for at home. Unbeknownst to them, their daughter's boyfriend is living in her closet and has a few ideas on how to make the family happy again.
Both stories explore a very dark world of individuals attempting to find love through whatever means necessary. Allen places the reader forefront in the characters heads in an unnervingly clear fashion. The reader can see the terrible fate of the characters coming, but also understands the desires (as twisted as they may be) blinding the stars of Allen's tragedies. The reader should be warned the book contains very graphic scenes of sexual horror. These scenes do not come across as exploitative, but are filled with a genuine sense of emotional torment.
John Paul Allen has not yet received wide attention in the horror community, but, if Monkey Love is any indication, he is sure to make an impact. His prose is lean and tight, and each character is written with their own distinct voice. Allen also possesses the rare ability to combine emotional drama and graphic horror. There is am awful lot to love about Monkey Love.
