I wasn't as big a fan of this one as Heart-Shaped Box (or even the collection 20th Century Ghosts), but it still goes to show that Hill definitely has the writing chops. The first half of the book I thought was excellent and exhilarating, but I felt he stumbled with the ending. I think endings are a bit of a problem for him.
