This is the sequel to the much praised Covenant. I feel it's actually slightly better than Covenant to be honest. This tells the story of a woman trying to summon and control The Curburide,a vicious set of demons that feed off of the lust and life force of humans. The demon Malachai tells his master Joe Kieran (former reporter from Covenant) about The Curburide trying to break through. Joe ignores his warnings at first because Malachai is not to be trusted. After a period Joe is forced to...
Horror Mall is about as professional as you can get. There's no waiting game with their communication emails to you. I had questions about Delirium's book club that were answered super fast, and even one email response sent to me on a Sunday night, if you can believe that.
My package arrived on time and packed with enough care to insure that my books didn't get slammed to all hell.
Definitely a place I'll do business with again-without hesitation.
Thanks guys!

The books are gorgeous and the packaging is the best this eBay junkie has ever seen. I'm in so much trouble when my wife looks at the Visa bill...
Author: David Niall Wilson This first book release by the good folks over at Chizine is a keeper. The stories in this volume are literary, deep, and powerful. The central theme is one of seeking truth, redemption, and dark secrets. Hayward took me by surprise with his almost cyberpunk style, urban decadence with a new, darker flavor. These stories are about characters who have goals, who will do whatever it takes to reach those goals...this book is a cut above the average genre collection. A great debut book for a new press, and an impressive beginning for an author I'd never read before. Highly recommended.
Author: Josef Hernandez This is, without a doubt, the best book I've read in 2008. While this is a departure from most of the books in HM since it is a science fiction story and not really horror, Hayward weaves this story in a way that transcends genre and will hook any reader. By weaving together these four seamingly different stories into a larger work, Hayward creates a world full of intrigue and philosophy. This book has themes that cut deep to the soul of the human condition. Drawing heavily on science fiction but with a dash of fantasy and horror (parts of this book seem reminiscent in theme and even content to some extent to Jeffrey Thomas's Hades), this is a spellbinding story that will cause the reader to think while entertaining and may just haunt your thoughts until you feel compelled to read it again. This book gets the highest recommendation possible.
