Number 13 by M.R. James is the latest free digital download from Arcane Wisdom offered by the Horror Mall. It was an OK tale at best, dealing with a man who rents a room in a hotel and is privy to strange incidents involving the room next door, #13. It has a mundane resolution, one which I didn't enjoy that much. As usual, the prose is very heavy, with minimal dialogue making for tedious reading. Recommended, but barely!
