Imagine that H. P. Lovecraft mixed with Manly Wade Wellman. Stephen Mark Rainey blends the monsters of his nightmares, the mountains and woods he loves, and a voice honed by decades of Lovecraftian fiction and Japanese monster movies. This collection, a definitive collection, brings together some of Rainey's strongest stories notably one of my personal favorites, "Fugue Devil," which was a therapeutic effort to deal with a nightmare from his past - and on through dark realms,...
This place is the greatest!! I have been collecting small press horror books for a few years now and it was always a pleasure dealing with Shane and Larry at their respective stores. Now you get two of the best in the business under one roof! I cannot wait until they start putting out their Infernal House books. They are going to be true works of art I am sure. Thanks guys!!

Remember the old peanut butter cup candy commercial that said "two great tastes that go great together"? Well as much as I hate recalling those old commercials, I can't think of a better analogy to compare the merger of these two small press giants into the entity known as the Horror Mall. I imagine by now that the bandwagon is mighty full from all the lifelong members this combination has brought about. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us...
Author: Paul Synuria II This book is great all the stories are top notch. As good as if not better than The Rising Selected Scenes From The End Of the Earth !!
Author: Josef Hernandez I like Earthworm Gods even more than I liked The Rising, so I'd been looking forward to this book and I wasn't disappointed. Once again, this book features real readers put into stories placed within the EG world and expands upon both the EG universe as well as the larger mythos that Keene has been creating. There is a lot to like in this book but it won't be enjoyed if you haven't read EG (aka The Conqueror Worms) first. Highly recommended and a must have for a Keene fan.
Author: Mario De Luca This year I re-discovered my love for short stories and read several collection therefore. EGSS is one of the best. I loved the novel and the stories are just fantastic! I hope the sequel EG2 will be that good too, but so far Keene has never dissapointed. Highly recommended!
