This was such a fun, little read from one of my favorite authors. It was great to see a very early work of his and see that even then Barker had such a fantastic imagination. This was more along the lines of The Thief of Always than his earlier horror as it was a fantastic tale versus his early Books of Blood and Damnation Game blood-and-guts horror.
