The Yellow Sign by Robert W. Chambers is an odd little story, probably why it's called a "weird tale." An artist and his model have strange recurring dreams involving the two of them, a hearse, and a grotesque watchman. Of course, the book, The Yellow Sign, plays a key role in the denouement of this short story, but for the life of me, there's no explanation as to what eventually occurs. It's OK, I guess, but I prefer modern horror in general. Recommended!
